Our Change Management Philosophy
Our approach to the planning and management of change is based
on the philosophy depicted in the following learning model that
can be applied to individuals and / or groups of people such as
organisations.

The overall aim of the change programme is to move all members
of staff to being “Unconsciously Competent” in the new
way of working
One of the biggest causes of failure of change programmes
is the lack of a comprehensive understanding of the issues, by all
stakeholders. It is not uncommon for sponsors to adopt the approach
of “we know what the problems are, now fix them”. This
is starting from ‘stage 2; ‘we know what we don’t
know’, which will certainly gloss over the root causes of
the issues and alienate the people dealing with those issues on
a day to day basis and whose support is vital for the resolution
of the issues.
Our methodology is designed to assist our clients start at stage
1, to determine what they don’t know about their business,
and to establish:
- A common understanding of the issues facing their business
- Ownership of a focused and inclusive change programme
- Control over value realisation
- Understanding of the impact of changes to the scope of activity
- Established measures linking strategy to operational change.
