At Synoptic Consulting we encourage the following:

discretion and trustworthiness;
- The provision of only those services for which we are competent,
and that provide full value for the client;
- The deployment of professional, experienced and competent consultants,
suitably briefed for each engagement;
- ‘Telling the truth as we see it’ – we will maintain an independent
position, being ready to differ with our client’s executives,
and to tell them the truth as we see it, even though that may
adversely affect our own income or endanger the continuance of
the relationship;
- The definition of a project’s scope of work before commencement;
- Where required, the integration of our flexible methodology
with our client’s own approach;
- The acknowledgment of the investment in prior work done by our
clients, and the endeavour to maximise this investment during
our engagements with them;
- The maintenance of a consultative and facilitative approach,
thereby ensuring all stakeholders are involved;
- Giving our clients constant oversight of project progress and
delivery of value, as supported by a Value Management Office and
Benefits Realisation Plans as required;
- Putting our client’s interests ahead of our own interests;
- Flexibility in our approach to pricing, offering either Time
and Materials or Fixed Price options as appropriate.
