Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager delivering analysis / process streamlining within the repair business Division, in support of IT system enhancements definition;

• Mapped 8 core repairs / service business processes, including ‘As Is’ process metrics (processing time, FTE requirements, average costs)
• Undertook a detailed process pathway analysis and bottleneck assessment
• Completed ‘To Be’ process mapping containing recommended changes, supported by ‘To Be’ process metrics for ongoing monitoring
• Produced a high level business case quantifying the benefits of change
• Produced high level, draft ‘As Is’ procedures / work instructions
• Published a web-based enterprise reference model browsable from any desktop.

Achievements:
o Process redesign yielded a conservatively significant cost saving p.a., and a substantial reduction in process cycle time.
o Identification of additional benefits, for example, Reduction in incorrect warranty claims, incorrect quotations, repairs rework, stock losses, working capital (high backlog of stock repairs, high credit lead times, handling costs by avoidance in overseas returns).
