Various projects; Process improvement within Course Materials production, and within Campus Bookshop operations

Project Manager overseeing a team of 3 consultants on multiple projects;
• Course Materials process improvement - redesigned over 100 detailed business processes, implementation of electronic performance support system and change management structure,
• Campus Bookshop process redesign - process and operational structure review, integration with other operations functions, operations rationalisation.

Achievements;
o Introduction of rigor and governance in course materials creation / modification process, including standardisation across Faculties and Support Departments, derivation of Business Rules.
o Identified initiatives based on effort and duration (for example, Quick Wins, longer term projects), and those based on type of initiative (Policy, People, Process and Technology);
o Defined an efficiency gain, and a service level improvement in the print services.
o Made a number of key service, process and structural changes for the Bookshop (retention of specialist Procurement, Stores and AP functions, centralising distribution, rationalising product lines, and initiating new services (for example self-service copy, kiosk, 24x7 online shopping incentives).
