Process improvement in support of systems design

Lead a team of 2 consultants in delivering process redesign and completion of a Business Requirement to guide a rebuild of the Accounts Receivable and Allocations system.
• Over a 6 week period, using our methodology and specialised process analysis tool across 14 processes, we analysed and identified improvement opportunities, incorporated solution concepts into redesigned, ‘To Be’ processes, ran performance metric comparisons to estimate service level and efficiency improvements, developed detailed Business Requirements, identified a Quick Wins initiatives program, and conducted a handover of designs and requirements to the internal systems redevelopment team.

Achievements;
o Reduced, streamlined, standardised, and de-duplicated processes (eg increased workflows, step automation, enhanced system interfaces, self service facilities) leading to a substantial efficiency improvement identified, and a large service level improvement identified, as defined by cycle time reduction.
o Reduced exposure to compliance risk, and reduced customer complaints.
