Process and systems analysis and improvement within Merchant Acquiring Operations

Project to map 46 key business processes related to the Merchant Acquiring Operations lifecycle to (a) capture how they currently operate, (b) identify and document process / systems improvements wherever possible (including any Quick Wins) and (c) establish a more stable platform for consolidation and ongoing growth. Scope included Sales, (Direct and Partner), Underwriting, Onboarding, Provisioning and Deployment, Settlements, Collections, Monitoring, Customer Support, Offboarding.

Achievements:
Over 18 weeks we;
• Identified 46 key Sales, Merchant Risk Management, Onboarding & Merchant Operations, Fin Ops, and Customer Support processes for ‘As Is’ mapping and review,
• Critiqued ‘As Is’ processes to identify gaps between the current process and future requirements,
• Defined high level Requirements for change to drive these new processes,
• Validated any IT System-impacting requirements for change with ICT Application Analysts,
• Designed and mapped Future (‘To Be’) processes,
• Provided validated Future state (‘To Be’) process maps plus requirements for change to ICT, to help inform their core IT system development program,
• Helped to identify an implementation prioritisation and sequence.
