Senior Consultant delivering multiple projects;
• Member Services - Business Process Improvement (APAC Region) - As one of 5 Global Regional Internet Registries (RIRs), APNIC provides resource & registration services to Members, and provides information, training & support to enable the user community to build and manage the Internet. It also supports critical Internet infrastructure to assist in maintaining a robust Internet environment.
• Analysis and improvement of 18 detailed Member Services, Registration Services and Finance processes to deliver higher customer service, lowered cost to serve (including lower errors, rework and waste costs), increased levels of internal support and integration, and enhanced sustainability for future growth.

Achievements;
o I/T system weaknesses dominated the analysis.
o A large section of all Solutions identified were in the ‘Quick Wins’ camp, each attainable within 2 weeks of commencement.

• IANA - RIR Internet Number Resource Process Mapping - APNIC (like the other 4 Regional Internet Registries - RIRs) operate processes between themselves and the US-based Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA), to manage new / recovered number allocations, return of resources, Registration of resources when they change, to monitor Service levels, and to pay annual fees for access to IANA Services.
• APNIC wished to clearly document IANA business processes related to the above number functions.

Achievements;
o Documented 10 ‘Priority 1’ Resources & Allocations processes supporting specific SLA expectations,
o Helped to ‘demystify’ the work that IANA does for the numbers community,
o Identified what functions may eventually transfer to a potentially new operator.
